Xavier and Dillard are bringing the Mardi Gras Scholarship Ball back for a third year here in the DMV!
This year we will have speaker Timothy J. Adams, Bowie, Maryland's history making FIRST African-American mayor, and a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana's Class of '82. He will share how his HBCU education propelled him to success. We will also have live music provided by the Foundation Band and DJ Joe Cooley! Live Event Art by Sage Smith, daughter of Leslé Honoré '98. Auction items from the New Orleans Saints Organization.
Both Dillard and Xavier are so excited to have you join us at our annual Mardi Gras Scholarship Ball. We can promise you that it will rival your best Mardi Gras memories! So please, buy your tickets and tell yo mama and dem to come out and join the party as well. Help us grow our scholarships and pay it forward to preserve and grow both the Dillard and Xavier communities for many years to come.
